Well......

Well is right. I don't have ANYTHING to book review about, so I'm just going to talk about random things because.........................well, I don't know why.  Just because ok???? Anyways, I have no books to read. I HATE when I reach this point...... I have to wait now to go to the library to get books. There is actually a couple of books I want to get. Should I make a list? Yes. Lets do that.

1: I want to get some Jane Austen books that I don't have on my bookshelf.
2: I want to look at the young adult section and see if there's any books that catch my interest.
3: I also want to get more of Gerald Morris books, which are based in the Middle Ages during the time of King Arthur.
4: I want to try to find a book called "The Iron King" which is another fairy book but looks really cool.
5: I want to try to read Linger, the second book in the Shiver series by Maggie Stiefvater.
6: There is some books I like to read  by Lynn Kurland that might be at my library.
7: I Am Number Four looks like a cool book, and the movie was good, so I want to find this book too.

There ya go. The point is, I want to find a lot of books at my library and I can't go because we never have a car at the house. My Dad uses it to go to work with. So now I have to wait for the weekend.... great.  I've just not had a good day today, and that probably shows in my blog. But I'm usually upset when I don' t have a book to read. That's just the way I roll.

I cannot wait for vacation! I NEED to get out of this house. I hope I have a book at the beach, otherwise I will go mad..... and nobody wants to see that.

Ok I'm gonna go. This is probably the most boring, short blog I've ever done but I can't really help that... I'm just not feeling it today.

Another blog of me blabbing...

When I have nothing to read, I always go back to Jane Austen books... Now that I've ran out of books, I'm reading Emma now. Actually I have two books on my night stand right now. One is Beautiful Darkness, Which as I've already told you in previous blogs, I don't really want to read. Why? Well, your going to have to read my blog on it! Anyway, the other book I have is The Eye Of The World by Robert Jordan. I think I've heard of this author before but I don't remember where. I think this guy is pretty popular... I got this book from my best friend's brother who said that it was good. He told me that all the books in the series are really long. The first book that I have is about 657 pages long and the second one has a lot more than that... It has to be a really interesting book for me to read that many pages... I'm only on chapter one, and so far it's not my taste. Oh well, we'll see. I'll give it a chance.

I had this plan. I was going to read all of Juliet Marillier's books, even the adult ones, (she only wrote two young adult ones) and see if they were as good as my Mom told me they were. The result? They were all amazing! I loved every one of them. She's one of the best writers out there that I have found. Obviously, I'm too young to read a lot of books. I realized I had a love for reading, about two years ago. So I haven't had much time to read a lot of books. I wish I didn't have to do anything but just read but that can't happen. I have a lot of stuff going on in the week. I'm only 15 so I still have chores and stuff do and I still have to do school. (I'm homeschooled) So, as you can see, I don't have much time for reading. But when I do read, it's my escape from the world. I have friends so there's always some sort of drama, and it's also worse because I'm a teenager. Ok, I'm going to stop talking about my life because I'm pretty sure you don't care, so I'll keep talking about what this blog was originally for.

Juliet Marillier is really good. Even my Mom, who has read a lot of books, says she's amazing. So, I took her word for it and read them. I just finished the last one of what she has wrote. She's writing more but there not published yet. When they are published, I'm going to read them.

Back on the subject of Jane Austen, my favorite of her's is Emma, and that's the one I'm reading now. A while back, I wanted to read all of Jane Austen's books, so I went to the library and got all of them and read them. But after I was done with each one, I watched the movie that goes to it. My favorite movie and book was Emma. I only have Pride and Prejudice, Northhanger Abby, and Emma. I want to get the others so that I have all of them but until I get a job, I won't have any money for that. Ok, I'm going to stop wasting your time and go read, like usual. Bye everyone, and keep reading! It's good for you. : )

Book review: The Wise Man's Fear

Ok so I just got finished with The Wise Man's Fear and I would give it  5 stars! This book was pretty amazing. It had really good writing (of course) because if you've read The Name Of The Wind, which was also great, you obviously know that Patrick Rothfuss is a great writer. Very good plot line. See, originally this series was all one big book but of course you can't publish that... it's just too long, so it kinda leaves you hanging at the end of both books. But that's not a major problem! We just have to wait another thousand years for the third one to come out... This book was like the middle of the big book he originally wrote. It basically gave you nice back story to when the real action starts happening... or that's how I see it. In this book, he go's to a lot of places because the University is kinda kicking him out for a while because there's all sorts of rumors about him, and the the University is getting nervous about it's reputation. So to let the rumors cool down, he goes on all sorts of adventures. He leaves, and go's to one place, then from that place he go's on mission for that person, and on that mission he go's somewhere else, and from that place he go's somewhere ELSE... and so on and so forth. I'm not gonna tell you where he go's because you need to find that out for yourself. ;) So this book is basically just the middle of the huge book that he wrote.  I liked all the characters too. They were all likeable. There was not one that I didn't like or care about... I wanted to find out more. The care factor was really high. It was almost like I was in another world when I was reading it....
Yes, it is VERY long but I was ok with it... I love long books. When I care, I just want to know more and more and when it ends I get upset, so this book helped that. Since Name Of The Wind left you hanging,  I wasn't surprised when this one did too. But there is a lot of questions still left, that need to be answered so I hope that the third one will answer at lest some questions.  So, to sum up this book: It was a big page turner, good plot line, great writing, interesting characters, and long. (which was a plus for me.) I would definitely recommend this book to friends!
And just a side note, you can't read this book without reading The Name Of The Wind first. So don't be lazy! Read both books. It's worth your time.
